Jesse Boehm

Hi, I am Jesse Boehm, and this is my little corner of the Internet. Here you will find blog posts, portfolio images of projects I created with my old company Techstur.com, of which I was the founder and owner for over 15 years. My resume is on this site along with a About Me section where I sum up 20 years in technology in five paragraphs or so.

I am a dad to two kids, who are my everything and keep me on my toes. I’m also a husband, photographer, audiophile, vinyl collector, and home automation guru.

I have lived in a lot of places. When I was in my early twenties, I hit the road across America channeling my inner Jack Kerouac, setting off On the Road. I have lived in Anchorage, Alaska, San Francisco, South Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, Key West, the Florida Keys, Tampa, New York City, and Austin, Texas. I grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and these days I have been living in upstate New York in Wappingers Falls for about ten years.

When I was 8 years old, I got a Commodore 64 and the games Zork and Deadline, and I have been online and into computers and technology ever since. This past June 2024 marked 25 years in my tech career and still going strong. Sometimes I feel like I have forgotten more than I know, and sometimes until I look in the mirror I forget how much I have grown. Whenever I use a computer, I am still that wide-eyed eight-year-old experiencing technology for the very first time.
